The festival dedicated to the ancient forms of popular music of Emilia Romagna, in particular those handed down through the modes of oral and visual communication without the aid of writing; a world of sounds that the Unesco counts among the intangible cultural heritage, and encouraging traditional artists and local creators, public bodies, and communities to identify, safeguard, revitalise and promote.
